It is pretty basic you stand 15 feet from a ten foot high rim. Nobody guarding you, all you have to do is shoot the ball into the hoop. This is one of the fundamentals that I was taught when I was in high school. Heck, we couldn’t leave practice till we had made 10 in a row. Sure there are those nights when a player may have his technique a little off. But how does a professional basketball team shoot 54%. It’s not because they had limited opportunities. They went to the charity stripe 31 times. All they had to make was 2 of the 14 they missed and they would have won the game. Sure it was a preseason game, but what you do in “practice” is what you do in real games. Maybe these overpaid players need to spend more time on the practice court and less time figuring out which sponsorships they want to do.
